Hello, I’m Bea – the soul of the house, with lots of heart and a dash of charm!
I’ve never followed just one path – life has offered me many opportunities, and I’ve taken something valuable from each one. Today, I’m living a life that truly fulfils me.
For me, travelling means far more than just taking a holiday – it’s a source of inspiration and personal growth. I loved working in hotel guest services, helping people plan their stays. I’m a lively, down-to-earth person who thrives on honest conversations and genuine connection.
Although I held a position of great responsibility in large hotels in the Passeier Valley, I always felt something was missing. My husband Michael and I had long dreamed of creating something of our own – and now we’re living that dream with our holiday home.
I see my dogs as part of the family and draw strength from nature, movement, and personal development through practices like Reiki, Theta Healing and sound massage. Social media and organisation are part of my everyday life – both for Villa Bea and in my office job – always with heart and creativity.
It’s a joy for me to welcome you into our home – into an atmosphere where you can truly feel at ease.

Our host: Michael
Michael is a reliable, calm and capable person. He works as a foreman in a concrete factory, where he is responsible for concrete mixtures, logistics and maintenance – and is known as a highly trusted organisational talent.
Outside of work, he’s passionate about mountain running and football, is actively involved in the local sports club and takes great care of the house and garden at Villa Bea. He’s especially proud of designing and building our wine cellar – where his hands-on skills meet heartfelt hospitality.
Our daughters: Felicitas & Fiona
Our two daughters, Felicitas and Fiona, are our pride and joy – each in her own unique way.
Felicitas is about to graduate from the secondary school for tourism and has already gained international experience in the United States. She has completed internships as a hotel receptionist and has already received a job offer from a well-regarded hotel.
Fiona attends a technical school for construction and dreams of becoming an architect – she’s talented in maths and full of determination.
Both girls are sporty, play musical instruments, and love discovering new places and spending time together.
Our dogs:
Sally & Myo
Sally & Myo – two lovable furballs with big hearts, bold characters and a permanent spot on the sofa.
Sally, our laid-back cuddle queen, has been with us since 2015. Bea thought she was adopting a little Frenchie – turns out it was a strong-willed (and utterly sweet) Amstaff! She’s a sunshine lover, rain protester and would happily nap 23 hours a day – unless Myo needs watching.
Myo, our little whirlwind from Sicily, joined us in 2023 through a rescue organisation. Found alone in a roadside ditch, he was the quietest pup out of 55 in the shelter… now? Not so much! We lovingly call him our silly sausage – he walks into glass doors and dashes off nose-first into any adventure, no matter the weather.

The path to
our dream project
Many people ask us: “How did you come up with the idea to buy this house and turn it into Villa Bea?” To be honest: it wasn’t a spontaneous decision!
My husband Michael and I had been dreaming of starting our own venture for many years. In September 2020, we were once again walking through Caines, following the Waalweg trail, and stopped for a break at Gasthof Ungericht. Shortly afterwards, we saw the house – the one that is now Villa Bea. I looked at Michael and instantly knew: “This is it! The perfect house, in the perfect place.” It was almost unbelievable that it was still empty…

We found our dream house on the property market – and together, the idea for Villa Bea began to take shape. With a great eye for detail, Michael’s experience and my own, we created a welcoming, high-quality home full of special touches.
In just 8 months, we renovated the entire house – thanks to Michael’s network and a fantastic team, we were even able to open two weeks ahead of schedule. Our favourite moments? Designing the pool, creating the barbecue area, and watching our vision come to life.
Since then, we’ve had the joy of welcoming so many lovely guests, stroking countless dogs, and laughing with children. Many of our guests have become regulars – and for certain times of the year, there’s even a waiting list! Our ideas keep flowing and we never stop being creative.
With deep gratitude, we are living our dream and loving this sun-kissed, peaceful place, so close to nature, with its breathtaking views – in every season, at any time of day. A place that never stops enchanting us.
